FV890, a scenic road along the Barents Sea
Located in Finnmark county, Norway, the Norwegian County Road 890 (Kongsfjordfjellet) is a very scenic journey on the Varanger Peninsula along the Barents Sea.
The road is totally paved running through magnificent landscapes. It’s a unique stretch of road that takes you right out to the Barents Sea edge. Expect snow, ice and wind often.
Nicknamed the Arctic Road, it’s 135 km (83 miles) long, running from Tana, on the E6 road, to Berlevåg one of the largest fishing villages in Finnmark County located on the northeastern coast of the Varanger Peninsula.
