The road climbing to the summit is part of Carretera 24 and is completely paved. However, it's far from smooth — riddled with cracks, potholes, and sharp bends. Night driving is discouraged, as large potholes can lead to mechanical issues, such as damage to the suspension system, shocks, or even tire punctures.
