The departments of Alto Paraguay and Boquerón, on the north-western area of Paraguay, comprise some of the longest straight roads in the world.
Most of the roads are paved and located on the area around Mariscal José Félix Estigarribia, a small town not far from the Bolivian/Argentinian borders.
