Mirador Via Principal
Mirador Via Principal Parque Nacional Cajas is a high mountain overlook at an elevation of 3.807m (12,490ft) above the sea level, located in southern Ecuador’s Andes mountains.
The road to the summit, located within the Cajas National Park in the highlands of Ecuador is called Vía Colectora Cuenca-Puerto Inca (E582). It links Guayaquil and Cuenca, the third largest city in Ecuador. The road to the summit is concrete. It’s very steep in good conditions with several hairpin turns. Expect foggy, rainy, cold and misty weather. It rains most habitually in Cajas in the afternoons.
