Laguna Milluni
Laguna Milluni is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 4,565m (14,977ft) above the sea level, located in the Cordillera Real of the Bolivian Andes.
The road to the lake, also known as Milluni Grande, is gravel, with several hairpin turns. With such a high summit altitude the road can be closed anytime due to snowfalls. The climb is simply terrible, with a notorius lack of oxygen that tests the organisms and a high degree of steepness. Most people feel altitude sickness at around 2,500-2,800 meters.
