Sunchulli Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 5,034m (16,515ft) above sea level, located in the La Paz Department, Bolivia. It’s one of the highest roads in the country.

The pass is located in the Apolobamba Range, in the western part of the country, near the Peruvian border.
How to get to Sunchulli Pass by car?
The road to the summit is entirely unpaved. It was a former mining trek since the Inca Empire, and a large portion of the original trekking route is now bulldozed.
Where does the road to Sunchulli Pass start and end?
The road runs from Hilo Hilo to Sunchulli villages. It features hundreds of turns and very steep sections. In order to complete the drive, permission is required from the SERNAP office in La Paz, Bolivia.
