Abra de Quiron
Abra de Quiron is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.182m (13,720ft) above the sea level, located in Salta Province, Argentina.
The road to the pass is gravel. It’s called Ruta Provincial 129. After rain and snow some sections might need a 4x4 vehicle. Avalanches, heavy snowfalls and landslides can occur anytime and can sometimes block some sections of the road, being extremely dangerous due to frequent patches of ice. The road has plenty of sand and corrugated sections, but it is still an easy climb.
