Dawson Saddle
Dawson Saddle is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.415m (7,923ft) above the sea level, located in Los Angeles County, California, in USA.
The road to the summit is asphalted and very scenic. It’s called Angeles Crest Highway. Its construction began in 1929. The road is in good condition but it’s pretty steep. It’s usually closed in the wintertime from Islip Saddle to Vincent Gap due to rockfall and avalanche hazards.
