Shrine Mountain Inn
Located in Eagle County, Colorado, in USA, Shrine Mountain Inn consists of three different cabins, Walters, Chucks, and Jays, climbing up to 3.431m (11,256ft) above the sea level.
Located in the southern section of the Gore Range, the road travels between Vail Pass and the town of Red Cliff. It’s called Shrine Pass Road - FSR 709. The track is in pretty good shape but it can be narrow and rocky. SUV or 4WD is recommended but sometimes the road is in good enough condition for high clearance 2wd vehicles.
The gravel driveway is accessible from June until September. Weather conditions can change quickly and be harsh. Road closures can be frequent. As always, check road conditions before departing. Altitude and extreme weather are always a factor at any time of year.
