Barillas Peak
Barillas Peak is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.847m (9,340ft) above the sea level, located in San Miguel County, New Mexico, United States.
Located within the Santa Fe National Forest, the road to the summit is gravel, rocky and treacherous in parts. Weather conditions can change quickly and be harsh. Road closures can be frequent. 4wd vehicle required.
Only travel on this road when it is dry. As always, check road conditions before departing. At the summit is a lookout tower constructed in 1959.
