Forest Road 4723
Forest Road 4723 is a short high mountain road located in San Juan County, in the southeastern part of Utah, United States. It’s one of the highest mountain roads of Utah.
The road is gravel, rocky and treacherous in parts. It’s 0.6 miles long. Weather conditions can change quickly and be harsh. Road closures can be frequent. 4wd vehicle required. Only travel on this road when it is dry. As always, check road conditions before departing. The road is difficult and it’s a nightmare in the wet or dark (or both). Do not take this drive if you have respiratory problems or any type of heart condition. Altitude and extreme weather is always a factor at any time of year. It climbs up to 3.240m (10,629ft) above the sea level.
