Forest Road 248
Forest Road 248 is a high mountain road located in Cache County, on the northern edge of Utah, United States.
The road is gravel, steep and rough in parts. It’s 4.5km (2.8 miles) long. Weather conditions can change quickly and be harsh. Road closures can be frequent. 4wd vehicle required. It can get very muddy and slippery after rain. The road is difficult and it’s a nightmare in the wet or dark (or both). The road links Forest Road 211 and Forest Road 177. Its highest elevation is at 2.518m (8,261ft) above the sea level, climbing up to a radio tower.
