Powder Mountain resort
Powder Mountain is a ski resort at an elevation of 2.517m (8,257ft) above the sea level, stretching between Weber and Cache counties in the U.S. state of Utah.
The road to the North America´s largest ski area is asphalted and very scenic. It’s called Powder Mountain Road, state Route 158. Open to traffic throughout the year. May be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad. The road is pretty steep. Starting from UT-39 road, the ascent is 18.66km (11.6 miles) long. Over this distance the elevation gain is 1019 meters. The average gradient is 5.46%.
