Promontory Divide
Promontory Divide is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.621m (8,599ft) above the sea level, located on the boundary between Custer and Huerfano counties, in southern Colorado, USA.
The road to the summit is asphalted. It’s called Colorado State Highway 69. Due to the high elevations and exposure, the road is subject to strong winds and rapid weather changes. Be prepared for the cold and wind. The pass is located in the southern part of the Wet Mountain Valley.
