Tower Mountain
Tower Mountain is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.088m (6,850ft) above the sea level, located in Umatilla County, in northeastern Oregon, USA.
The road to the summit, located within the Umatilla National Forest, is gravel. It is currently drivable for most passenger vehicles. It’s called NF-5226. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). At the summit there’s a lookout tower built in 1929. The peak was originally named Lookout Mountain but its name was officially changed in 1925.
