North Oscura Peak
North Oscura Peak is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.437m (7,995ft) above the sea level, located in Socorro County, in the U.S. state of New Mexico.

The road to the summit, located in the Oscura Mountains, is gravel. It’s called Wsmr S Rte 331. Access is completely forbidden to civilian vehicles. The peak is the location of an Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), a facility designed to assemble and evaluate advanced sensor, tracking and atmospheric compensation systems.
