Ward Mountain
Ward Mountain is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 3.336m (10,944ft) above the sea level, located in south-central White Pine County of eastern Nevada, in USA. It’s one of the highest mountain roads of Nevada.
The road to the summit, located within the Egan Range, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. The road is generally open from mid May thru September (pending snow and accessibility). Great trail for experienced wheelers. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. The road is in fairly good condition, but a high-clearance vehicle is still necessary. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. Wet conditions may make for tough driving along the muddy road.
