Travelling through the Forest Road 306
Forest Road 306 is a high mountain road located in Fremont County, in the U.S. state of Wyoming.
Starting from Louis Lake Road, the road is 2.8 miles (4.5km) long. Its highest elevation is 3.132m (10,275ft) above the sea level. It’s unpaved. Accessibility is largely limited to the summer season. It is not generally snow-free until late June or even July in some years. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. Wet conditions may make for tough driving along the muddy road.
