A memorable road trip to Patterson Pass in Nevada
Patterson Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.260m (7,414ft) above the sea level, located in Lincoln County, in the U.S. state of Nevada.
The road to the summit is totally unpaved but usually well maintained. It’s called Patterson Pass Road. In order to drive this road up, you need a high clearance vehicle. The trail is narrow with few places for passing so meeting someone can be a challenge.
The pass road is 11.58km (7.2 miles) long, running east-west from US-93 to N Cave Valley Road, along the spectacular outdoor scenery of Nevada.
