Snow Valley Peak
Snow Valley Peak is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.813m (9,229ft) above the sea level, located in Carson City, in the U.S. state of Nevada.
The summit is located in the Carson Range of the Sierra Nevada. The road is very rough, tippy and bumpy at times. The road is usually impassable in winters. Great trail for experienced wheelers. The trail is narrow with few places for passing so meeting someone can be a challenge. The wind is usually quite strong at mountain areas. High winds blow here all year long. Even in summer you can confront with snowy days. The peak lies within the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. In order to drive this road up, you need a high clearance vehicle! The trail is very steep. Wet conditions may make for tough driving along the muddy road. Don't forget your camera with lots of film/memory, fully charged batteries and an empty memory card. From the peak Mound House, Carson City, Lake Tahoe, Reno and Carson Valley are all clearly visible.
