Trappers Lake
Trappers Lake is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 2.987m (9,799ft) above the sea level, located in Garfield County, in northwest Colorado, USA.
Trappers Lake, the crown jewel of Colorado's high lake fisheries, is located in the White River National Forest. The road to the lake is gravel. It’s called Trappers Lake Road. Keep an eye on the weather for thunderstorms and lightning. Insure your spare tire is in good condition. We advise you to carry an automatic air pump and tire repair kit. Insure your gas tank is full. The road should open by early June each year.
