Dixie Mountain
Dixie Mountain is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.525m (8,284ft) above the sea level, located in Lassen County, in northeastern California, USA.
The road to the summit, located within the Plumas National Forest, is a well graded dirt road on the west side of the lake. It’s impassable in winters. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. The road to the lookout isn't great, so take a 4WD and a spare tire, just in case. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. At the summit there’s a lookout built in 1928.
