Fox Mountain
Fox Mountain is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.864m (9,396ft) above the sea level, located in Catron County, in the U.S. state of New Mexico.
The road to the summit, located within the Gila National Forest, is gravel and rocky. It’s called Fox Mountain Lookout Road. It’s impassable in winters. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. At the summit there’s a lookout tower built in 1959.
