Jordan Peak
Jordan Peak is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.619m (8,592ft) above the sea level, located in Tulare County, in the U.S. state of California.
The road to the summit, located within the Sequoia National Forest is gravel and rocky. It’s called Forest Rte 20S71. It’s impassable in winters. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. Near the summit there’s a lookout tower built in 1934. It has the distinction of being one of the highest lookouts in California. It also affords one of the most dramatic 360-degree views the region has to offer.
