Mount Bigelow
Mount Bigelow is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.571m (8,434ft) above the sea level, located in the Santa Catalina Mountains, in Pima County, in the south central region of the U.S. state of Arizona.
The road to the summit, located within the Coronado National Forest, is gravel and rocky. It’s called E Bigelow Road. It’s impassable in winters. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. At the summit there’s a lookout tower built in 1958, numerous communications equipment and an astronomical observing facility.
