Rose Peak
Rose Peak is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.653m (8,705ft) above the sea level, located in Greenlee County, in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Arizona.
The road to the summit, located within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest is gravel and rocky. It’s impassable in winters. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. At the summit there’s a lookout constructed in 1929. The Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest station is in active service.
