Ellis Mountain
Ellis Mountain is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.091m (6,860ft) above the sea level located in Sweet Grass County, in Montana, USA.
The road to the summit is a gravel 4wd track. It’s called Iron Mountain Road (FS 482). Do not travel this road in severe weather conditions. Avalanches, heavy snowfalls and landslides can occur anytime, being extremely dangerous due to frequent patches of ice. The road is a bit rocky and muddy in places.
