Gooseberry Point
Gooseberry Point is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 3.154m (10,347ft) above the sea level located in Iron County, in Utah, USA.
The road to the summit, located within the Dixie National Forest, is a gravel 4wd track. It’s called Forest Road 1635. Do not travel this road in severe weather conditions. Avalanches, heavy snowfalls and landslides can occur anytime, being extremely dangerous due to frequent patches of ice. The road is a bit rocky and muddy in places. Starting from the asphalted Cedar Canyon Road, the trail is 4 miles long.
