McCord Pass
McCord Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 3.296m (10,814ft) above the sea level located in the Eagle County, in Colorado, USA.
The road to the summit, located within the White River National Forest, is a gravel 4wd track. It’s called Cottonwood Peak Road. Do not travel this road in severe weather conditions. Avalanches, heavy snowfalls and landslides can occur anytime, being extremely dangerous due to frequent patches of ice. The road is a bit rocky and muddy in places. The last mile is very rocky and steep.
