Quartzite Mountain
Quartzite Mountain is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.654m (8,707ft) above the sea level located in Lemhi County, in Idaho, USA.
The peak is located within the Salmon - Challis National Forest. The road to the summit is called NF-113 (Yellowjacket Lake Road). It’s a gravel 4wd track. Do not travel this road in severe weather conditions. Avalanches, heavy snowfalls and landslides can occur anytime, being extremely dangerous due to frequent patches of ice. At the top of the peak, there are two firepits, and if you look in the right place you'll find a metal bench placed overlooking the valley. Amazing views.
