It is known mostly for its tide pools, but the views alone are worth the effort to get here. Low tide offers incredible opportunities for tide pool exploration. Wildlife such as bears and seals can be found in the area. Keep a safe distance from any wildlife you encounter.

The road to the beach is fully paved and called Enderts Beach Road. Along this short drive, just minutes from Crescent City, you can enjoy elk viewing, whale watching, and stunning coastal views.

How Long is the Road to Enderts Beach in California?

The road is 3.7 km (2.3 miles) long, running north-south from U.S. 101 to the Crescent Beach parking lot. Although the parking lot is small, it's generally not difficult to find parking there or along the side of the road. Motorhomes/RVs and trailers are not advised beyond Crescent Beach picnic area.
