The drive is 36.53 km (22.7 miles) long and comprises Forest Road 24 and Forest Road 60. Passenger cars can navigate this road, but it's recommended to drive slowly due to its gravel surface.

Where Does Carson-Guler Road Start and End?

This scenic drive begins at Route 141, near Peterson Prairie Cabin, and ends at the Wind River Highway/Forest Road 30. Popular attractions along this road include Goose Lake, Goose Lake Campground, trailhead access to the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail, and Crest Horse Camp.
