Where is Bald Knoll?

The pass is located south of Monroe, in the central part of Utah, within the Dixie National Forest.

Is the road to Bald Knoll unpaved?

The road to the summit is completely unpaved and not an easy drive. The route includes uneven terrain, with some moderately challenging sections and a continuous uphill climb. A 4x4 vehicle is necessary, as the road is unsuitable for standard passenger cars.

How long is the road through Bald Knoll?

The road through the pass is about 5km (3.10 miles) long, running east-west from Anderson Road to BM 7934 Road.

Is the road through Bald Knoll open in winter?

Set high in Monroe Mountain, this road is usually closed from late October through late June or early July, depending on snowfall.
