Adventure along Little Annie Road
Little Annie Road is a very scenic drive in the heart of Pitkin County, in the U.S. state of Colorado.
Located in the White River National Forest, the road, also known as County Road 15G, is totally unpaved. This road is fairly well maintained and stays high in elevation throughout the trip. It tops out at 3.467m (11,374ft) above the sea level.
The road is 7.24km (4.5 miles) long, running from the paved County Road 15 to County Road 15E (Richmond Hill Road). It’s heavily used by 4WD's, especially on weekends. The drive offers great views of the Castle Creek Valley. It is not generally snow-free until late June or even July in some years.
