Honey-Xicotepec Road
The Road to Honey-Xicotepec (Veracruz state route 107) or Road to Tlacuilotepec is a very scenic impressive tropical lush and forest road offering great views of waterfalls, mountain cliffs, canyons mission churches and more.
Starting at Honey at an elevation of 2.140 masl, the road dramatically descends into the canyon near the town of Pahuatlán at 720 masl where it continues dizzying through the mountains to a massive river canyon, where a huge waterfall is located, visible from the road. Tlacuilotepec fall is 380 meters tall. This road is dangerous due to constant landslides, rain and fog. Caution is advised due to the fog and people walking nearby road from indigenous towns.
