Driving through the Mexican Federal Road 307
Carretera Federal 307 is a very scenic jungle drive locate within the Montes Azules National Park, in the state of Chiapas, in southern Mexico.
The asphalted road is 467km long. It’s very scenic and links Palenque and La Trinitaria. There are some interesting section of this route, north side near the Bonampak and Yachilán Mayan ruins and south side near Lagunas de Montebello National Park.
North side: This route offers beautiful lush tropical forest, green trees, grass, palms, lush vegetation everywhere you look at.
Montebello National Park: The south section is far interesting. It offers mix of tropical rainforest jungle and temperate forest, pine trees, and many turquoise lakes, besides of scenic views of canyons, some tunnels, and mountain cliffs.
