Set high in the Boundary Ranges of the Coast Mountains, the road to the summit is totally paved. It’s called Klondike Highway. The drive offers sweeping views. The road is very steep, hitting an 11% of maximum gradient through some of the ramps.

The pass is 34.4km (21.37 miles) long running south-north from the Alaskan coastal town of Skagway to Fraser, in northwestern British Columbia, Canada.
