Yedigöller
Yedigöller is a serie of seven glacial lakes at an elevation of 3.173m (10,410ft) above the sea level, located in Erzurum Province in the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. It’s one of the highest roads of Europe.
The road to the summit is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy. The best time to go is during July-August. Be prepared for the cold and wind! High winds blow here all year long. 4x4 vehicle required. Expect a trail pretty steep with some hairpin turns. Drive with care as this is a mountain road with dangerous dropoffs. Extremely low oxygen for engine combustion. It’s one of the highest roads of the country.
