How Long is the Road through Marsis Mountain?
The road to the summit is completely unpaved, very narrow, and features steep sections with numerous turns. It spans 52.9 km (32.87 miles) running north-south from Ortacalar, a village in the Arhavi District of Artvin Province, to Yüksekoba, a village in the Yusufeli District, also in Artvin Province.
Is the Road through Marsis Mountain Open in Winter?
Situated high in the Eastern Black Sea Mountains, the road is typically impassable from November to April, depending on weather conditions.
