The road to Kiskili Koyu isn’t an easy one

Where is Kiskili Koyu?

The peak is located north of Lake Van, near the Ağrı province border, in the eastern part of the country. The summit is crowned with many communication towers.

How long is the road to Kiskili Koyu?

The road to the summit is completely unpaved and is usually impassable in winter. A 4x4 vehicle is required. The ascent is quite steep: starting from Aydınlar, the road is 9.7 km (6.02 miles) long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 706 meters, with an average gradient of 7.27%.
