Driving the wild Apivanak Yaylası
Apivanak Yaylası is a high mountain plateau at an elevation of 2.523m (8,277ft) above the sea level, located in Rize Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey.
The road to the summit, located within the Kaçkar Dağları Milli Parkı, is totally unpaved. The road can be accessed year round but may be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad. 4x4 recommended. Starting from Yaylaköy, the road is 15.6 km (9.69 miles) long.
