Col du Tronc
Col du Tronc is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.612m (5,288ft) above the sea level, located in the district of Martigny, in the canton of Valais, in Switzerland.
The road to the summit, also known as Col des Planches, is mostly gravel, narrow and pretty steep. It’s closed to vehicles over 18Tn. It is subject to winter snowfalls with such a high summit altitude, and the road can be closed anytime when the access is not cleared of snow.
