Pico del Buitre
Pico del Buitre is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 1.926m (6,318ft) above the sea level, located in the Sierra de Javalambre, on the border of Aragon and Valencia, in Spain.
The road to the summit, located within the Sierra de Javalambre mountain range, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. It’s called Carretera Forestal Pico de Javalambre The road is usually impassable in winters. Great trail for experienced wheelers. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. The pass links the Gúdar-Javalambre comarca of Aragon and the Rincón de Ademuz and Serrans comarcas of the Valencian Community.
This is a maintained road where a high clearance 2WD vehicle is able to travel safely at low speeds on long dry straight-of-ways, without losing control due to wash boarding, ruts, or dips. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. Wet conditions may make for tough driving along the muddy road.
