Puerto del Saucillo
Puerto del Saucillo is a mountain peak at an elevation of 1.204m (3,950ft) located in the province of Málaga, part of the autonomous community of Andalucía in southern Spain.
The road to the summit, located within the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times with several hairpin turns. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. Thunderstorm activity can quickly change unpaved roads to four-wheel-drive condition or make them impassable. Its many twists, turns and narrows can pose a challenge to even the most experienced drivers. The journey offers stunning views of the neighboring mountain villages.
