Lo Covil
Lo Covil is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.402m (7,880ft) above the sea level, located in the comarca of the Pallars Sobirà in Lleida, Catalonia, Spain. It’s one of the highest roads of the country.
The road to the summit, located in the Alt Pirineu Natural Park, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. It’s called Pista de la Jornada. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting). The wind is usually quite strong at mountain areas. High winds blow here all year long. 4x4 vehicle required. Stay away if you're scared of heights.
