A wild road to Mirador de Juan León
Mirador de Juan León is a high mountain natural viewing point at an elevation of 1.733m (5,685ft) above the sea level, located in the province of Jaén, in Andalusia, Spain.
The road to this natural balcony, located within the Natural Park Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and the Villas, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. Great trail for experienced wheelers. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point.
4x4 vehicle recommended. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. Wet conditions may make for tough driving along the muddy road. The wind is usually quite strong at mountain areas. High winds blow here all year long. The journey offers superb views. It’s definitely worth it. The summit provides a spectacular panorama over the surrounding landscape.
