Where is Morrón de Espuña?

The peak, also known as Morrón de Totana, is situated in the southeastern part of the country. At the summit, there is some military equipment with radars on top. From here, visitors can enjoy magnificent views over the entire area.

Is the Road to Morrón de Espuña Paved?

Yes, the road to the summit is paved but narrow and steep, with a maximum gradient of 12% on some sections. The climb includes 20 hairpin turns, making it a challenging but rewarding drive. Located in the Sierra de Espuña mountain range, snow is not uncommon at the summit during the winter months.

How Long is the Road to Morrón de Espuña?

Starting from the paved MU-503 Road, the ascent is 12.6 km (7.82 miles) long, with an elevation gain of 868 meters. The average gradient is 6.88%, making it a demanding yet scenic route to the top.
