Is the road to Alto Llano paved?
The road to the summit is fully paved, with some concrete sections. It’s pretty narrow. Open to traffic throughout the year, may be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad.
How long is the road to Alto Llano?
The road is brutally steep. Starting from La Pradera de Navalhorno, the ascent is 6.8km (4.22 miles) long. The average gradient is 7.5 per cent. The hardest part of the climb features an average of 12 per cent and maximum gradient of 20 per cent.
