The road to the resort is called L-501. It’s fully paved but with some steep sections (up to 10.7%). The road is well tarred, with 14 hairpin turns and driving is not difficult. Starting from the crossroad of L 500 - L 501 roads, the ascent is 14.2 km (8.82 miles) long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 780 meters. The average percentage is 5.5 %.
Is the road to Boi-Taüll open in winters?
Located within the Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici Natural Park, the road is open to traffic throughout the year, but may be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad. On days of storms, on the final stretches, it is necessary to use chains.
