The pass is located to the east of Calar Alto, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, in the southern part of the country.

How Long is the Road to Collado del Hornillo?

Set high in the Sierra de Los Filabres mountain range, the road to the summit is fully paved but partly damaged due to heavy snowfalls. It's called AL4404. The pass is 32.4 km (20.13 miles) long, running north-south from Gérgal to Collado Venta Luisa.

How Steep is the Road to Collado del Hornillo?

The road has very steep sections, with a maximum gradient of 10% in some ramps. Expect very little traffic.
